Five stores selling alcohol were blown up in Baacuba

Iraqi militants blew up five stores selling alcoholic beverages this morning, ITAR-TASS reports.

As a result of one of the explosions, a taxi driver who was nearby died, and several people were injured. The owners of the stores were not injured - the incidents occurred in the early hours when they had not yet reached work.

In recent months, several alcohol merchants have been killed in Iraq. These actions were committed by Muslim fanatics who believe that their victims "desecrate" the provisions of Islam.

Most terrorist attacks against the owners of wine stores were carried out in the city of Basra in the south of the country, where the Muslims of Shiites live.
