In Voronezh, scientists have learned to produce food from blood

Scientists of the Voronezh Technology Academy have developed the opportunity to produce a series of food products from the blood - milk, yogurt, kvass, chocolate and coffee. This was reported to "Interfax" in the leadership of the Voronezh State Technological Academy.

Scientists note that at each meat processing plant about 7 tons of blood disappears daily. Technology of the Voronezh Academy has developed a way to use it.

“Trushing products from blood have already been released that are not different from the same traditional technology prepared by traditional technology. All products developed from the blood contain unique blood proteins that are absorbed by the human body twice as fast as chicken proteins,” the academy noted.

Currently, products manufactured using new technology are aimed at research in Moscow.

"In parallel, negotiations are underway with a number of meat processing plants on the organization on their base of products enriched with protein," the academy emphasized.
