Three corpses were discovered in the center of Moscow in the collector

The bodies of three people were discovered on Monday in a collector in the center of Moscow.

According to Newru.com in the Main Directorate of Civil Defense and Emergencies of the capital, information about the detection of corpses was received at 11:52.

According to the source in the State Pedagogical University, the bodies of three men were in the collector near the house 8 on the street of the Soviet Army near the building of the Russian Army Theater.

Employees of the 1st search and rescue detachment of the GOFS and the laboratory of the Monitoring Center of the State Unitary Enterprise GOUCS went to the scene.

Later it became known that on the fact of the death of three people whose bodies were discovered in the collector in the center of Moscow, the prosecutor's office opened a criminal case.

"The case is investigated under Article 143, part 2 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (violation of labor rules, which entailed by negligence of the death of a person)," the official representative of the Moscow prosecutor’s office told Interfax.

The first deputy prosecutor of the city, Sergei Borisov, and the prosecutor of the central district of the capital, Igor Pavlov, went to the scene.

The press service of the prosecutor's office of the Central Administrative District of Moscow distributed a message that states that the men died during the repair work in the well. At 9:40 a passerby noticed an open hatch on the street of the Soviet Army. Looking at him, he saw the bodies.

Currently, the investigation establishes which organization was engaged in repair work.
