German national team will be headed by Jurgen Klinsmann

The football union of Germany (FSG) held negotiations with Jurgen Klinsman, who will probably lead the team of the hosts of the World Cup-2006. This information is confirmed on the official website of the FSG - Klinsmann living in California on Tuesday flew to negotiations in New York. The ex-football player of the German national team met with the President of the Federal Security Service Gerhard Mayer-Felder and other representative of the Union Horst Schmidt.

“We conducted a very constructive five -hour dialogue, during which we stipulated the situation that developed in the German team,” Klinsman said. “I said that I was ready to develop and implement new ideas. Negotiations are ongoing.”

“I am glad that the FSG accepted my proposal and entrusted me with helping the national team for the 2006 World Cup,” the 39 -year -old specialist continued. “The tournament will become the most important event for Germany over the past 40 years, and I can benefit the national team.”

On Wednesday in Zurich, representatives of the FSG also negotiated with Olger Osik, who worked as an assistant trainer at the 1990 World Cup and is a member of the technical department of FIFA. Osyk talked with Mayer-Felder, Schmidt and Franz Bekenbower. It is possible that he will work with Klinsman.

Clinsmann assistants can also appoint his ex-partner for the national team of Oliver Birkhoff, who is forgiven the post of manager of the national team, reports UEFA.com.
