When a new discussion unfolded on a sore subject for generals who had not had time to finish building their dachas, the topic: whether to draft students into the army or let them study for themselves, the new Minister of Education and Science, Andrei Alexandrovich Fursenko, remained silent. And finally, I decided to formulate an opinion:

“There are no good ways out, you have to choose from what you have. We must think together about what options are possible. This is a topic for discussion, but not for discussing the fact that if we start conscripting students into the army now, then we will ruin Russian science. We won't kill her. We will create a problem, but we will not destroy it.”

And further: "I know people who served in the army during the war, returned from there and after that received the Nobel Prize." We will not particularly analyze the rhetorical abilities of the Minister of Education. But with the fact that it is impossible to destroy science, perhaps, it is worth agreeing.

Science will live - the minister is right - without us. Abroad - where our best brains will go, who still hope to receive the Nobel Prize, bypassing the Chechen and other wars.
