
Three tourists from St. Petersburg, allegedly disappeared in the Elbrusya area, the press service of the Russian Emergencies Ministry said on Wednesday.
"On Wednesday, two tourists from St. Petersburg turned to the Elbrusian search and rescue service of the Russian Emergencies Ministry and reported that three of their comrades, who had to climb in the area of the Mount of OSB, did not return to the appointed deadline," the representative of the Ministry of Emergencies said.
He said that presumably tourists could disappear on the territory border with Georgia and it is planned to send a helicopter in search of tourists.
"The searches may be needed to lead in Georgia. In this regard, a request was sent to the Georgian Foreign Ministry," the press service of the Ministry of Emergencies said.
