In Chechnya, the base of the militants was discovered

In the Kurchaloevsky district of Chechnya, a base of militants was discovered. This was announced by the regional operational headquarters (Rosh) on the management of the counter -terrorist operation in the North Caucasus, RIA Novosti reports.

The base was found as a result of intelligence in the mountainous part of the republic south of the village of Rethy. It was equipped with five observation points, a place for installing nine tents.

According to Rosh, it also found personal hygiene items, medicines, used syringes, packaging from cartridges and food products, a faulty Kenwood radio station, a compass and an electric wire.

Currently, federal forces are continuing reconnaissance and search activities in this area.
