Enhanced security measures are taken in Moscow in connection with the latest events - an explosion on the Kashirsky highway and a catastrophe of two airliners , a source in the city administration told Interfax.
"All city services were instructed to strengthen vigilance." Mosgortrans "has already sent a telephone message to auto enterprises, in which public transport drivers are asked to strengthen control over the movable composition and situation at stops. Special instructions were given to the leadership of Mosvodokanal, Hormost and other urban organizations, under the jurisdiction of the strategic life social facilities," - the interlocutor of the agency emphasized.
“On holidays, when the city day will be celebrated (September 4-5), special operational brigades will be on duty at city enterprises and units of city services. You cannot allow the city’s Day to be overshadowed by some kind of emergency,” he added.
The source also said that in the city administration there is a special action plan in case of emergency situations. "All city service managers are familiar with this plan, and, if necessary, city structures will act clearly and efficiently," he said.
The management composition of the Moscow Central Internal Affairs Directorate of Moscow was transferred to a round-the-clock service regime, and operational investigative groups were strengthened.
