In Tajikistan, members of the religious and extremist organization Bayat were arrested

In the Isfarinsky district of Northern Tajikistan, the activities of members of the prohibited religious and extremist organization Bayat were disclosed. As the ITAR-TASS correspondent in the Republican Ministry of Internal Affairs was informed today, 20 extremists were arrested, 18 more personalities were identified. In order to detain them, operational investigative measures are underway with colleagues from neighboring countries.

According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the arrested and the wanted list is charged with the creation of a criminal community to destabilize the situation in the Northern District, the persecution of representatives of other religious faiths, as well as in the commission of specific crimes, including murders and rushes.
