
Deputy Head of the Administration of the President of the Russian Federation Vladislav Surkov was elected chairman of the board of directors of AK "Transnefteprodukt. His deputy in the Council of Directors was the Deputy Minister of Industry and Energy Andrei Reus.
The board of directors also appointed two new members of the company's board. According to Interfax, they were the first vice president of Transnefteprodukt Vladimir Karamanov and vice president of the company Philip Nikonov.
Surkov is far from the first representative of the Kremlin administration, aimed at heading the advice of directors of the largest Russian companies. One of the noisy appointments of recent times is the transfer to Rosneft the deputy head of the presidential administration Igor Sechin.
In addition, earlier the head of the administration, Dmitry Medvedev, was elected chairman of the Board of Directors of Gazprom, and the ex-head of the administration, Alexander Voloshin, is currently headed by the Directorate of RAO UES.
