At the meeting, the chief architect of Moscow, Alexander Kuzmin, said that the new circus for 3,500 spectator places will be located between Lavochkin Street and the designed passage 1552 (continuation of Smolny Street).
“The new circus building will appear on the shore of the pond, a convenient entrance will be organized to it, including from the River Station station, in addition, parking for visitors to the circus is planned,” Kuzmin said.
The planning project is supposed to increase the green territory of the friendship park by withdrawing garages and the construction of multi -tiered parking in their place.
"Along the new highway - the understudy of Leningradsky Prospekt, a zone for garages will be allocated, thus the green territory of the park will increase," Kuzmin explained.
He also said that on the square near the River Station metro station it is planned to create a modern transplant unit with city and regional routes.
“This area is not organized, and it is very important, since it is located at the end station of the River Station metro station,” said the chief architect of the capital.
For the convenience of residents of the district, it is planned to build an above-ground trade and pesterous bridge over the bus station, which will connect the park with residential buildings of the Golovinsky district.
