Yukos appealed the decision to arrest the shares of Yuganskneftegaz

The Federal Arbitration Court of the Moscow District appointed on October 18 the consideration of the Cassation appeal of Yukos on the decision to arrest the shares of Yuganskneftegaz, lawyers of the oil company told reporters.

Recall that the arrest on the Yuganskneftegaz shares and other subsidiaries of Yukos was imposed by the Judicial Pro -Benefit service on July 14, 2004, as part of the enforcement proceedings on the recovery of more than 99 billion rubles of tax debt for 2000.

RIA Novosti recalls that Yukos chained this decision in court, and on August 6 the first instance of the capital's arbitration canceled this arrest, but on August 18, the appeal recognized the decision of the first instance illegal. Now Yukos turned to the cassation instance.
