The Russian television company "3rd Canal" demonstrated an interview with the leader of the Chechen terrorists Aslan Maskhadov. According to the commentator of the 3rd Channel, these personnel were shown by the Georgian television channel MZU.

“I know that the President of Georgia will not be easy. I know what Russia is and how to resist Russia. I wish the Patience and endurance to the Georgian president and the Georgian people to really defend their interests,” Maskhadov said in a video message.

Maskhadov spoke Russian, and he was removed against the backdrop of the green flag of the Republic of Ichkeria, RIA Novosti reports.

"My representatives and assistants who are in Georgia told me that the Georgian leadership, Georgian representatives of the authorities have nothing against, that our refugees are on their territory. On the contrary, they help them, are ready to help," Maskhadov said.

The commentator of the 3rd Canal noted that MZU demonstrated these personnel in the days of terrorist attacks committed on Russian aircraft.

The FSB of Russia announced a reward of 300 million rubles for reliable information about the whereabouts of Maskhadov and Basayev. "Over the years, the leaders of gang formations Shamil Basayev and Aslan Maskhadov, who are wanted, were committed inhuman terrorist acts in the Russian Federation who entailed irreparable victims," ​​the FSB of the Russian Federation said after the terrorist attack in Beslan.

Chechen militants are not friends of Georgia, Saakashvili said

Georgian President Mikhail Saakashvili said that Chechen militants are not friends of Georgia.

Commenting on an interview with Maskhadov, the Georgian television company MZU, the President of Georgia said: "Most Chechen field commanders have hands in the blood of the Georgian population in Abkhazia. So these people are not friends. God save us from such friends, and we will get rid of the enemies ourselves."

Saakashvili also said that Georgia is ready to cooperate with Russia in the fight against terrorism.

"Recently, the Minister of State Security of Georgia met with the directors of the FSB and the SVR of Russia. We have no secrets from the Russian special services in the matter of the fight against terrorism," Saakashvili said at a special briefing on Tuesday evening.

According to him, Georgian and Russian structures established cooperation on the issue of border protection.

"We make joint wings of our borders. On our initiative, a joint patrol of borders was organized so that not a single armed person crossed the border not only from Georgia to Russia, but also from Russia to Georgia," the president said.

The head of state believes that Georgia is even more vulnerable, even more weak and not protected from terrorism than Russia.

"If the Russian special services have any information, they must help us, just as we help them get rid of all sorts of elements. The sooner Russia will put things in order on its territory, the more calm people will sleep in Georgia," Saakashvili said.

The President emphasized that cooperation with Russia in the fight against terrorism is being established and, in this sense, claims to Tbilisi have not been presented recently.
