An explosion thundered in Ankara at the US Cultural Center

At the Cultural Center of the United States, located in the very center of the Turkish capital, an explosion thundered at 22:05 Moscow time.

As ITAR-TASS, eyewitnesses, citing police officers on duty next to the center, brought into action a non-fried explosive device.

According to preliminary data, there are no victims as a result of the explosion.

The windows of neighboring buildings adjacent to the cultural center were knocked out by an explosive wave. Turkish police blocked traffic along the central street of the capital to inspect the scene.
