Yukos returned Millhouse Capital 57% of Sibneft shares

The Millhouse Capital management company received 57% of the shares of Sibneft, previously owned by the Yukos NK. This is stated in the press release of Millhouse Capital, representing the interests of Roman Abramovich and his partners.

“The return of the control package of Sibneft shares was the former owners to be the first step on the implementation of the mutual agreements reached at the beginning of this year between the shareholders of the Yukos and Sibneft on the recovery of two companies,” the report says.

The representative of the Yukos told the oil information: "The company today really gave the Deutshe Bank order to transfer this package to the former main shareholders of Sibneft. As far as we know, this transfer has already been carried out."

The main shareholders of Sibneft and Yukos on October 3, 2003 announced the completion of the transaction on the association, which resulted in the emergence of the UKOSSIBNEFT company.

As part of the merger of the two companies, shares of the new emission of Yukos were partially used, which exchanged for Sibneft shares. As a result of the transaction of the NK Yukos, the owner became 92% of Sibneft shares, and Sibneft - 26.01% of Yukos shares. Later, the termination of this transaction was announced.
