Saddam Hussein underwent surgery

Former President Iraq Saddam Hussein has a surgical operation to remove a hernia and now he feels normally. This was reported today by representatives of the Iraqi authorities and the American military command in Iraq.

The operation was carried out in the Ibn Sina hospital, located in the so -called "green zone" in Baghdad. This is a specially protected area in the center of the Iraqi capital, where government institutions and the headquarters of the coalition forces are located, ITAR -TASS reports.

After the operation, Saddam Hussein was transferred to the place of his opinion. The other day he was visited there by representatives of the International Committee of the Red Cross, who attested to the satisfactory well-being of the ex-dictator, which should appear before the court.
