The head of the Ministry of Health and Social Development, Mikhail Zurabov, informed the Russian President about the main directions of social support included in the draft 2005 budget . The minister recalled the figures provided for in the federal budget and the budgets of social funds. According to Mr. Zurabov, 10 billion rubles. it is planned to allocate for additional medical care for non-working pensioners, 3 billion for additional compulsory medical insurance for children, 4.7 billion for the purchase of technical means for the rehabilitation of disabled people, including the manufacture and repair of prostheses.
The Ministry of Economic Development must submit to the government a draft federal target program “Administrative Reform” by November 20. The corresponding instruction to this department was given following a meeting of the commission on administrative reform chaired by Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Zhukov.
