At the Plesetsk cosmodrome, preparations were completed for the first test launch of a modernized Soyuz-2 launch vehicle. ITAR-TASS reports that a rocket with a mass-gapal layout of a satellite, located on the launchers of the 43rd site, is refined by components of rocket fuel.
According to the interlocutor of the agency, "currently pre -launch operations are being carried out at the starting complex."
The start of the Soyuz-2 is scheduled for 21:30 Moscow time. Initially, the missile test was planned to be carried out on October 29, but was postponed for technical reasons.
The three-stage liquid carrier "Soyuz-2" is made at the Samara missile and space enterprise "TsKB-Progress". The rocket is equipped with a fundamentally new control system and provides more accurate removal of useful loads in a wide range of orbits in comparison with the exploited lightning carriers and the union family.
