
In St. Petersburg, the opening of the temple cultural and educational center "Lyrotitsa" will be held, new news reports.
The center will be located in one of the most beautiful temples of the northern capital - in the temple of the icon of the Mother of God "All the Grits Joy", located in the historical center of the city, on Shpalelena Street.
This temple was one of God's first houses in the city of Peter under construction. Here, in front of the miraculous icon of “all mourning joy” kneeling Peter I, Catherine I, Anna Ioannovna, Elizaveta Petrovna, Ekaterina II, Paul I, other members of the reigning house and the imperial court. However, access to the temple was open for people of lower classes.
At the beginning of the XIX century, a church house was built next to the temple, in which the abbot and employees of the temple lived. To date, most of the church house has been repaired, where the Cultural and Educational Center "Label" will be located. As the communications service of the St. Petersburg Metropolis notes, the tasks of the center include the organization of lectures and conversations on historical, artistic, educational and religious topics, meetings with interesting people, concerts of classical and spiritual music, watching thematic films.
In one of the cabinets of the center, the Memorial Museum of the Holy Martyr Grigory Serberinov, selfless to the rector of the temple in the vague 1912-1922, will open. And in the very near future, the first Museum of Holy Martyrs and Confessors of the St. Petersburg and Ladoga diocese will be created at the center of the Center.
