
The Ukrainian opposition nominated an ultimatum to the President of the country Leonid Kuchme.
In particular, as one of the opposition leaders Yulia Tymoshenko stated, the opposition requires Leonid Kuchma to dismiss Prime Minister Viktor Yanukovych; immediately make a proposal for the new composition of the CEC; To dismiss the governors of the Donetsk, Lugansk and Kharkov regions, to instruct the Prosecutor General and the head of the SBU to initiate a criminal case against the initiators of the split of Ukraine.
The Ukrainian opposition gives Kuchma 24 hours to fulfill the requirements of the ultimatum. Otherwise, blocking the movement of Kuchma through the territory of Ukraine begins. "The inactivity of Leonid Kuchma will be regarded as a crime against the Ukrainian people under the Criminal Code of Ukraine," Tymoshenko said. The ultimatum expires at about 23:00 Moscow time Monday.
According to Tymoshenko, on Monday night, the authorities are preparing provocations against the participants in the action. In this regard, she called on law enforcement agencies and military personnel not to obey the orders of the authorities sent against the people. She also called on the highest command of the Ukrainian army to "join the people", ITAR-TASS reports.
According to her, on Monday, the opposition plans to submit to the Verkhovna Rada a bill on the resignation of the government Viktor Yanukovych.
The factions supporting Viktor Yushchenko also intend to introduce a bill on the beginning of the formation of the coalition government. The opposition also intends to introduce a bill with a request for the resignation of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine Gennady Vasiliev. Tymoshenko said that on Monday, most of the opposition protest participants will go to the building of the Supreme Court of Ukraine, where Yushchenko’s lawsuit will be considered about the second round of the presidential elections in several districts, including in the Lugansk and Donetsk regions.
Tymoshenko said that if on Monday the government does not comply with the requirements of the opposition, then on Tuesday, Yushchenko’s supporters begin to block the motorway. "Every day, the radicality of our actions will be adequate to the actions of the authorities," Tymoshenko said.

Tymoshenko presented at a rally of coordinators responsible for the actions of the opposition near the key state objects, calling them "field commanders." To lead the blockade of the presidential administration was entrusted to the deputy Taras Stetskiv.

Earlier, Yushchenko said that the picket of buildings of the central authorities will not be terminated and emphasized that this action did not pursue the goal of preventing the employees of these bodies to work. "We are talking about peaceful picket, it will not be removed, it will continue and will be a demonstration that we will not depart from the requirement to recognize the elections with constant and re -voting," Yushchenko said.
“We do not set the goal of someone not to let go of work. We set the goal that those people who work in the Cabinet of Ministers know the goals of the protesters. We are talking about pickets - a peaceful action that is unlikely to apply the work of state institutions,” Yushchenko emphasized. He also called for cooperation with the leadership of Russia.

A referendum was appointed in Donetsk on December 5
The session of the Donetsk Regional Council decided to hold a regional referendum on amendments to the Constitution of Ukraine on the issue of the federal structure and the provision of the Donetsk region of the status of the republic as part of the Federation.
The regional council recognized the decision of the CEC to win the victory in the election of Viktor Yanukovych and recognition by the elected president of Ukraine. The regional council also expressed distrust of the Verkhovna Rada, who made a decision on invalidating elections.
The Donetsk Regional Council decided, taking into account the political situation in the country, to appoint a regional referendum for December 5. According to Interfax, the decision of the session, which was broadcast to the square, where more than 30 thousand citizens gathered, was met by salute.
The opposition calls not to participate in a referendum

This is stated in the resolution of the congress, which was attended by more than 3.5 thousand delegates from Crimea, Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, Zhytomyr, Zaporizhzhya, Kyiv, Kirovograd, Lugansk, Nikolaev, Odessa, Poltava, Sumy, Kharkov, Kherson, Cherkasy, Chernihiv region, Kyiv and Sevastopol.
According to the resolution of the congress, such a decision was made, “acting within the framework of the Constitution of Ukraine and the Law on Local Self -Government, expressing the interests of the presented territorial communities, reacting to the critical aggravation of the socio -political situation in the country, the destructive actions of the so -called democratic opposition.”
The congress also instructed people's deputies from the regions participating in the forum to appeal to the Constitutional Court of Ukraine regarding the decisions of the Verkhovna Rada of November 27 regarding the results of voting in the presidential election.
At the congress, the Interregional Union of Local Self -Government of Ukraine was created. The union will lead the council, which will include 2 people from each of the regions, participating in the Union. The congress instructed the Council to organize his executive committee, which would be in Kharkov.
"At the worst crisis version of the development of political events in the country, we will be one and decisive in protecting the will of the people of Ukraine up to the referendum on the possible change in the administrative -territorial structure of Ukraine," the congress resolution said on Sunday.
At the same time, the congress condemned "anti -state, anti -people's actions of the so -called opposition leading Ukraine to a territorial split and disaster."
At the same time, "in the event of further development of the coup and the arrival of the illegitimate president," the congress participants reserve the right "to adequate actions in self -defense," the resolution says.
"We express our faith and hope that constitutionality and common sense will triumph, and we do not have to carry out extreme measures to self -defense of the interests of tens of millions of citizens of Ukraine," the resolution of the congress says.
The All -Ukrainian Congress of People's Deputies and deputies of local councils at all levels took place in the hall of the Ice Palace, designed for 5 thousand places. Almost all places were occupied.
According to the updated data of the organizing committee, about 4 thousand delegates from 15 regions arrived at the congress - Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, Zhytomyr, Zaporizhzhya, Kirovograd, Lugansk, Nikolaev, Odessa, Poltava, Sumy, Kharkov, Kherson, Chernihiv region, Crimea and Sevastopol. Representatives of the Transcarpathian and Cherkasy region were absent from the previously declared participants - according to the organizers, they did not come "for technical reasons."
