The cause of the accident in the gas pipeline in the suburbs was technological

The accident in the gas station in the Voskresensky district of the Moscow Region occurred for technological reasons, RIA Novomskoye was told in the Moscow Emergencies Ministry.

"There were no signs of a terrorist attack or sabotage at the gust of the gas pipeline. The exact cause of the accident, which most likely occurred due to the wear of the equipment, will establish a special commission," said the representative of the Ministry of Emergencies.

Information about the breakthrough of the gas pipeline pipe with a diameter of 800 millimeters in the area of ​​the village of Berezovka, Voskresensky district, arrived today at 10:10 Moscow time, after which the emergency site was immediately blocked.

After the rupture of the pipe, a gas fire occurred, and the fiery torch was visible at a distance of several kilometers. Three hours later, after the gas is completely burned out, the fire stopped. As a result of the accident, no one was injured.
