Representatives of the popular British boxer Ricky Hatton are close to signing a contract for the battle with the world's world welterweight champion Konstantin Tszyu, Allboxing reports citing the British newspaper The Guardian .

Currently, the promoter Frank Warren is working on the formation of a program of the alleged show, and if he manages to attract a sufficient number of famous fighters to participate in it to interest American and British television, the battle between the Ziu and Hatton will take place on March 5 in Manchester.

Warren claims that he had already managed to reach a preliminary agreement with the Tszyu camp. “I think that the case is going to the official declaration of the battle, and you can probably say that it will take place,” the promoter said.
