The prosecutor's office of the Central District of Moscow has charged all 39 activists of the National Bolshevik Party of Russia who participated in the seizure of the presidential reception building. Limonovites are under Articles 167 (damage to property), 214 (vandalism) and 278 (actions aimed at seizing power). Recall: on December 14, the National Bolsheviks broke into the building on Ilyinka, 21, where, according to their assumptions, Vladislav Surkov's office was supposed to be. On the same day, the happy Limonovites announced that they were in the office of the deputy head of administration. The information was repeated by many domestic and world media, which turned out to be untrue. As it turned out, the Limonovites only got to the public reception room.

But even despite this "extenuating circumstance", all the participants of the action ended up in the pre-trial detention centers in Moscow. Adults were placed in the Lefortovo and Butyrka pre-trial detention centers, while minors are still in the isolation ward at the Water Stadium.

Among the arrested National Bolsheviks there are three foreigners: Yuri Bednov (Moldova), Alina Lebedeva (Latvia) and Yulian Ryabtsev (USA). According to the press service of the NBP, eighteen-year-old Yulian Ryabtsev, along with other Limonovites, is now in the Butyrka detention center. The US Embassy declined to comment on this information. Sergei Ryabtsev, Yulian's father, has already hired Moscow lawyers who will contact the US Embassy and the Moscow police department in the near future.

According to defenders of other NBP activists, the trial in this case will not be easy. According to lawyer Javil Sirozhidinov, the authorities will formally seek the most severe punishment (considering that almost all Limonovites pass under Article 278, the punishment could be from 12 to 20 years). However, things are unlikely to reach real large terms. The National Bolsheviks are accused of "seizure of power" only because this article gives the FSB the opportunity to participate in the investigation, Sirozhidinov believes.
