A blizzard is expected in Moscow

At the end of the week, the Atlantic cyclone will reign in the Moscow region, which means that snowfall and reduced atmospheric pressure cannot be avoided by snowfalls, strong winds. According to Roshydromet, it is this weather that Muscovites expect on the last day of the working week and on the weekend.

Today, impulses of the southwestern wind have reached 17 m/s. At times, snow will pass. In the morning it will be still quite frosty: in the capital - up to minus 7, in the region - up to 10 degrees below zero.

In the afternoon, the air temperature will increase slightly. About 4 degrees below zero are expected in Moscow, in the region - from 2 to 7 frost. On Saturday, according to weather forecasts, the weather will not change significantly. By Sunday, the precipitation will stop and get warmer a little. On Sunday, about zero degrees is expected in the capital, ITAR-TASS reports.

Due to the strong wind today, drifts are possible on the roads. In addition, weather forecasters warn of strong ice. Therefore, it is better for motorists today to listen to the advice of traffic police officers and, if possible, not get behind the wheel, but use public transport.
