On the walls of the Tauba Mosque in the Avtozavodsky district of Nizhny Novgorod, the Nazi swastika reappeared, the Islam website in Nizhny Novgorod reports. This mosque over the past year is regularly attacked by vandals. Groups of adolescents and adults of 25-30 years old throw mud on the walls, beat the windows, break the fence. Cases of threats in relation to the administration of the mosque were noted.

"The spiritual department of the Muslims of Nizhny Novgorod and the Nizhny Novgorod region and the parishioners themselves have repeatedly turned to representatives of local authorities and power structures with a request to strengthen the protection of the mosque in order to ensure the security of Muslims, but no obvious measures were taken," the statement published on the site said.

"In the best case, all this can lead to the fact that Muslims will simply stop going to the Avtozavodsk mosque out of fear of being attacked by Nazi thugs. And who will guarantee that the next time there will be no human casualties, especially since vandals are adults who, as a rule, are an order of more than 20.
