The comedian from Texas decided to repeat the feat of his Russian colleague Mikhail Evdokimov. He intends to put up his candidacy for the post of governor of his native state George Bush.
Kinkov Friedman is a candidate for the post of Governor of Texas - the author of dozens of books, leading several popular humorous programs, as well as a musician and author of texts. His last hit is the song of "Jews like Jesus, they no longer do."
Friedman does not consist in either the democratic or in the Republican Party. He will be the first independent candidate for the post of governor Texas since 1959. He says that he is vital victory in the elections. Friedman put his eyes on the governor’s residence: "I need a residence, because I ended in a place in the closet."
A 60-year-old candidate said that he would build his campaign exclusively in humor. Friedman intends to make fun of all his rivals in every possible way, reports Reutes.
“Do not worry that I have no experience in politics. Trust me. I am a Jew, I can hire good people,” Friedman addresses voters.
“I am not against the death penalty, I am against those not to be executed. Two thousand years ago, we executed an innocent named Jesus Christ. We cannot repeat such a mistake. Our state is in the first place in terms of the number of death sentences and in the 49th level of education,” Friedman said.
He also promised that in the event of a victory, he would appoint the famous singer and lover of Marijuana Willy Nelson to the head of the Texas Rangers.
Analysts are not taken to predict the result, but they say that it will be very funny. A number of influential Washington political scientists predict that Friedman can even win the elections.
