
A soldier of the 58th Army of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation left the military unit in the village of Troitskaya of the Sunzhensky district of Ingushetia, having a Kalashnikov assault rifle with him.
According to Interfax on Monday a source in the district department of the internal affairs, the soldier Pavel Tirtyshin, who was drafted from the Kochubevsky district of the Stavropol Territory a year ago, left the observation post on the territory of the military unit.
“The reasons for the escape are not known,” the source noted. “The deserter has four stores with 120 rounds to Kalashnikov’s machine.”
"The search is conducted by groups of military personnel together with police officers. The escape is reported to law enforcement agencies of the Stavropol Territory and Chechnya," the agency’s source added.
