| In the Chelyabinsk region, yesterday morning, the head of the Satka city police department, Alexander Uskov, was killed right at his workplace. The colonel's body with three gunshot wounds to the chest was discovered by his subordinates at about 8.00. To investigate the emergency, a special investigative group was immediately created, headed personally by the regional prosecutor Alexander Voitovich. The examination showed that Colonel Uskov was shot from a machine gun. After conducting the first interrogations, investigators established that the crime was committed by one of the police officers, since there is a strict access control regime in the city police building. Alexander Voitovich said that the circle of suspects has already been outlined and the picture of the incident is almost clear. By mid-day, the regional prosecutor's office announced that the investigation had established the identity of the killer. He turned out to be a subordinate of Alexander Uskov - a 48-year-old private security officer. To detain the alleged criminal in the Chelyabinsk region, the Vulcan-5 plan was put into effect, the results of which have not yet been reported. The motives for the crime also remain unclear. Colleagues of both law enforcement officers do not put forward any versions that could explain what happened. Mikhail VIUGIN, Ekaterinburg
