The audit showed that the prosecutor's office of the Moscow region hid more than 960 crimes from recording, including 73 intentional murders. As noted in the press service of the Prosecutor General's Office, the regional courts acquitted 46 persons in cases under investigation by the prosecutor's office, and 70 persons in cases of investigators of internal affairs bodies. Based on this, the board on March 4 concluded that the efficiency of the regional prosecutor’s office has decreased due to organizational miscalculations and errors, as well as shortcomings in monitoring execution on the part of the Moscow Region Prosecutor Ivan Sydoruk and his deputies Vyacheslav Shulga and Valery Kuznetsov.
