The pastry chef took the last photograph, which depicts Nicholas II, the Empress and children, as the basis for the composition. Some are sitting, some are standing. The author admitted that his acquaintances dissuaded him from this idea, fearing that the Church would be against it: recently, Orthodox Christians in Yekaterinburg were outraged by the showing of the ballet “Rasputin,” since Nicholas II was supposed to appear on stage “in tights.” But this time everything worked out: the diocese treated the initiative favorably and allowed him to eat the product - but with reverence.
