From infantry to mountain riflemen

Until recently, the Ministry of Defense stated that it would take at least 8 years to leave Georgia. But Georgia strongly opposes the Russian military presence, so the reduction in time can only be welcomed. The only strange thing is that the ministry associates the withdrawal of the bases with the creation of two mountain rifle brigades in the North Caucasus. In Georgia there are military units with heavy weapons - tanks, air defense systems. How Russia can use this to create mountain brigades remains a military secret.
