In short, the militants are doing everything possible to demonstrate that a tragic event - the death of their leader - cannot stop the fight for freedom. Meanwhile, the pro-Kremlin leader of Chechnya, Alu Alkhanov, refrains from wild enthusiasm over the murder of Maskhadov. He expressed doubt that the situation in the republic will now improve.
