According to the archbishop, four rounds of negotiations between the commissions of the Moscow Patriarchate and the Russian foreign church "were held in a focused, concentrated spirit." “There is a hope that we can complete this path during mutual condescension,” said the representative of the Russian foreign countries.

At the last fourth meeting, held near Paris in early March, it was decided to betray all the details of the negotiations in order to widely discuss both in Russia and abroad of still existing controversial issues. In May, they will appear on the official sites of both churches.

At the Parisian interviews, the development of a general view of issues “related to the tragic fate of the Russian Church in the twentieth century, the relations of the Church and the state,” was continued, ”said Archpriest Nikolai Balashov, secretary of the external church relations of the Moscow Patriarchate of the Moscow Patriarchate, ITARS -TASS.
