5 prisoners escaped from the temporary detentional insulator

In the Tosnensky district of the Leningrad region, five suspects of theft fled from the investigative insulator on Thursday night.

As Interfax was told in the Central Internal Affairs Directorate of St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region, five suspects undergoing criminal cases related to the prediction of personal property were taken to the investigative insulator of the Tosnensky ATS from the temporary detention of the village of Gorelovo to familiarize themselves with the materials of criminal cases.

The disappearance of prisoners was discovered during the morning verification. Currently, two of the escaped have already been detained by police officers in the Tosnensky district. The search for the rest of the fugitives continues.

A criminal case has been instituted on the fact of the escape under Article 313 of Part 2 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (an escape from the place of imprisonment, from arrest, guard, carried out by a group of persons). An investigation is being conducted.
