Demonstrators moving towards Bishkek from the Kemin region were stopped outside the capital of Kyrgyzstan on Saturday, the Kyrgyz national news agency KABAR reports .

According to official data, representatives of law enforcement agencies and the security service of Kyrgyzstan met with the demonstrators, who, after negotiations with the organizers of the march, convinced them not to go to Bishkek. "KABAR" emphasizes that the participants in the procession are not supporters of Akaev, but were marching on Bishkek in order to demand the implementation of the country's constitution. Earlier, citing official sources, it was reported that about 300 people - Akaev's supporters - were moving towards Bishkek.

"KABAR" confirms that among the participants in the procession are former Ministers of Internal Affairs Keneshbek Dyushebaev and Ecology and Emergency Situations Temirbek Akmataliev. However, they are not the organizers of the march and called on its participants not to aggravate the situation and not to go to Bishkek.

According to unofficial data published on the Internet in "LiveJournal.com" by user Morrire , 2.8 thousand people - Akaev's supporters - were moving towards Bishkek, almost all of them were armed with firearms. The protesters did not abandon the idea of going to Bishkek, they just took a break for the night. They issued an ultimatum that everyone who came to Bishkek to support the opposition should leave the capital by Sunday morning.
