The initiative worth 100 million pounds, which appeared at the moment when scientists predict the third strong earthquake in Indonesia, is the most convincing evidence that the government recognizes the danger of natural disasters, including space clashes and “spanning” of volcanoes, which have occurred with an interval of tens of thousands of years.
It is expected that Tony Blair, who ordered King, a report after the December tsunami, who claimed 300 thousand lives, will seek from the July Summit of the Big Eight the adoption of this plan.

“Since society realized the risk of natural disasters, it was time to create a system of early warning not only in the Indian Ocean, but to make it global,” he said.
"We must establish a system of early warnings that does not have borders that respond to all physical and natural dangers: earthquakes, tsunami, volcanoes and near -Earth objects (asteroids and comets)."
