Two prisoners escaped from the IVS in the Irkutsk region

In the Irkutsk region, two fugitives from a temporary detention center are being searched. According to the Central Internal Affairs Directorate, the escape occurred on Wednesday night from the IVR of the Olkhonsky District Department of Internal Affairs in the village of Elantsi.

According to preliminary data, the fugitives got out to freedom, having drank the lattices on the insulator window, RIA Novosti reports.

One of the escaped, born in 1971, a resident of the village of Elantsa, previously convicted of theft, was detained on suspicion of causing serious bodily harm. The second fugitive, born in 1981, a resident of the city of Ulan-Ude, previously not convicted, was detained for theft.

The Vulcan-5 plan has been introduced in the area, orientations were drawn up and transferred to all departments of the internal affairs. Currently, the team of the Main Directorate of the Interior of the Irkutsk Region for the audit has left for the scene.

The issue of attracting employees of riot police, other special forces and, possibly, military units for combing the area, is being resolved.
