Earlier, the media of Ukraine distributed the following reconstruction of the moment of the murder of a journalist:
Gongadze was killed right in the car, which was subsequently found and is currently in the garage of the Prosecutor General. Then the body was buried, but not in the Tarashchensky forest. They tried to burn the body, doused with gasoline, but it did not burn. Most likely, the "Excess of the Contractor" occurred, that is, there was no intention to murder initially. The abductors shot George into the head of George by accident. But since the bullet remained in my head, and shot at Gongadze from a service pistol, the body had to be divided.
The President of Ukraine today demanded a speedy end of the investigation against the executors of the murder and transfer of their case to court. Speaking about customers of the crime, Yushchenko noted that "here is the work ahead." The President of Ukraine refrained from comments on reports on the discovery of the head of the murdered journalist, explaining that "this information has not yet been commented.
In the case of the murder of opposition journalist Gongadze, several people arrested law enforcement agencies of Ukraine. According to the source in the law enforcement agencies of Ukraine, "these people are direct participants in the murder. Maybe not performers, but people who were present during the murder." Three of them are representatives of law enforcement agencies, two have the title of Colonel, another - with the rank of general. Another person - the ex -head of the Foreign Intelligence Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Alexei Pukach - is on the international wanted list.
