A man who fired at an 11-year-old boy fired in Karelia

A 57-year-old man who suffered as a result of shooting arranged by an 11-year-old boy died in the hospital of the Karelian district center of Segezh, without coming.

During the investigation, it turned out that a child living in a neighboring house shot a man. The tragic incident occurred last Monday.

An elderly man and his seven -year -old grandson went to the cellar for potatoes. When grandfather and grandson were already returning home along the path between the houses, the man suddenly grabbed the chest and fell. A woman passing along the same path called an ambulance. As it turned out, a bullet hit the man’s chest, a caliber of 5.6 millimeters.

The police officers called to the scene of the incident combed the surrounding area and soon found out that the fire on the path was conducted from the balcony of one of the houses. When going around the apartments of the house, it was possible to establish that an 11-year-old teenager shot from a hunting carbine.

The police say that the carbine belongs to the father of the teenager. There was no parents at home and a schoolboy, taking advantage of their absence, decided to shoot from the loggia.

According to the investigation, the boy fired more than twenty shots, and several bullets managed to find a police officers in trees growing next to the house and even in a wooden frame of a neighboring house. On the balcony, 21 shot sleeves were discovered and seized.

In connection with the death of the victim, an article in an initiated criminal case may be re-qualified from the 118th (causing harm to health by negligence) to the 105th (murder) of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, reports Fontanka.ru .
