Kazan Communists held another protest rally against social reforms

On Sunday, Kazan Communists held a rally, which ended with a call to pensioners to take part in the May Day demonstration, RIA Novosti reports.

Only about 50 people came to the rally in front of the Tatar State Academic Theater named after Galiascar Kamal. The organizers of the rally - members of the City Committee of the Communist Party and deputies of the Communist faction of the State Council (Parliament) of Tatarstan Robert Sadykov and Nasima Stolyarov performed before them.

The rally participants held the posters in their hands “We demand to cancel the robber's law 122!”, “In full to restore all the benefits!”, “We demand to provide Russian citizens with a decent level of remuneration of labor, pensions, scholarships and benefits!”

At the end of the rally, those present at it adopted a resolution in which they demanded from the governments of Russia and Tatarstan the establishment of the minimum wage and pensions, cancel the reform of the housing and communal services and 100 percent payment for utilities, and also called for the All-Russian referendum "on key issues for the country's life."

Activists of the Communist Party also invited pensioners to come to the square in front of the Galiascar Kamal Theater on May 1. On this day, the Communists plan to hold a rally there, and then go through a demonstration to the Square of Freedom, where the monument to Lenin stands. About 50 pensioners and 10 police officers took part in the Sunday rally of Kazan Communists. The rally took place without any incidents.
