
More than six thousand prisoners were released from Iraqi prisons. This was reported on Sunday by the Qatari news agency with reference to the Iraqi Ministry of Human Rights.
According to him, the prisoners were released after the decision of the United Committee to control the affairs of the Iraqi prisoners with the participation of the coalition command all charges were removed from them.
The action became possible, the agency clarifies, thanks to the work of the United Committee, consisting of representatives of three Iraqi ministries - justice, internal affairs and human rights - and the coalition command, RIA Novosti reports.
