Only in the west will the influence of the slowly moving cold atmospheric front of the cyclone be felt; there will be short-term rains in places and thunderstorms are possible. Damp, humid and cool weather in the northwestern regions of Russia is extremely unfavorable for people with chronic joint diseases, such as arthritis, polyarthritis, and rheumatism. Exacerbations of bronchopulmonary diseases are also possible: chronic bronchitis, tracheitis, bronchial asthma. In central Russia there will be no significant meteopathic reactions. But the flowering of a number of plants, which continues during these May days, can cause allergic reactions in people predisposed to them.
