New York Voices and Igor Butman Big Band. A joint concert of the famous jazz vocal quartet and one of the best Russian big bands. New York Voices have been around for about 18 years, taking the best traditions of their great predecessors Lambert, Manhattan Transfer and others and introducing elements of Latin American melodies and rhythms, classical and pop music into the classic jazz sound. The ensemble collaborates with a wide variety of musicians, and its collaboration with Count Basie Orchestra was awarded a Grammy Award. "Le Club" , 20.30.
"Gorn". The name of the group, a ward of the Snegiri label, stands for “State Orchestra of the Russian People.” The ensemble consists mainly of academic musicians - students of the Conservatory. The music of “Gorn” is most reminiscent of a cheerful multi-style farce a la Kusturica, where everything is frivolous and very fun. The debut album “Caramel Fugue” will be presented at the concert.
