Yukos is ready to sell production assets that cannot be financed

OAO NK Yukos is ready to sell its production assets, which the company is unable to finance, according to the materials of Yukos for the general meeting of shareholders, available at the disposal of the Petroleum Information Agency (API). With permission from the competent authority of the Russian Federation, Yukos will sell mining assets, the development of which is beyond the financial capabilities of the company, the materials say.

Yukos did not provide a list of these assets in the materials for the meeting of shareholders, however, earlier, according to the text of the statement of claim of Yukos, available to the ANI, filed by the company with the Moscow Arbitration Court on May 25, 2005, Yukos repeatedly offered the bailiff service sell part of the company's property to pay off tax debts.

In particular, they discussed the blocks of shares (participatory interests) of YUKOS in the following organizations: OAO Sibneft; JSC "Belgorodenergo"; JSC "Tambovenergo"; JSC "Kubanenergo"; JSC "Tomskenergo"; JSC "Urengoil Inc"; OJSC "Neftegaztekhnologiya", CJSC "Arctic Gas Company"; JSC "VSNK"; CJSC "Manoil"; CJSC "Otradnensky gas processing plant"; CJSC "Neftegorsk gas processing plant"; OJSC "Angarsk Polymer Plant"; LLC "Strezhevskoy NPZ"; OAO FPK KEDR-M and OAO Germes-Moscow.
