The last details of the negotiations were devoted to the settlement of formalities between CSKA and Benetton clubs, the Army press service said.

“We invited not a famous and titled specialist, who, of course, is Messina, but the coach, who supported our project, at the source of which Dushan Ivkovich stood,” said Sergey Kushchenko. “The essence of this project is the national idea in CSKA. We want to raise the level of Russian players qualitatively, give them more chances to realize our capabilities.”

Recall that the last three seasons CSKA was trained by a Serbian specialist Dushan Ivkovich, who left the club after the victory in the final series of the Russian Championship over Moscow Dynamo at the end of his three -year contract (the agreement was not extended by the decision of both parties).
