The Ministry of Internal Affairs starts "Tigers"

By the end of the year, about 20 Tiger armored vehicles, which are produced at the Gorky Automobile Plant, will enter the service of special forces of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs, RIA Novosti reports.

According to the press service of the car factory, on Tuesday at the landfill of the Automobile Plant Deputy Minister of the Interior, Major General Mikhail Sukhodolsky, the first two GAZ-233036 Tiger cars were transferred from the party, which, under the terms of the contract, will be made during this year for the needs of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

Carriers from the cars were handed by the general director of GAZ OJSC Alexei Barantsev. The deputy minister immediately tested special cars at the training ground. It is planned that these two Tiger will enter the Moscow riot police. Other cars will be transferred to special forces serving in the North Caucasus.
