President Putin: Budget-2006 should become a budget of development, not squandering

President Putin said that the federal budget for 2006 should become a “development budget”. “The budget should not be a“ squandering budget, ”the head of state said today at a meeting with members of the Government of the Russian Federation. The government and the State Duma should not resort to such forms of activity that would lead to “grave consequences for the whole country,” Putin noted, Prime -Tass reports.
