The gang of customs officers in Primorye was engaged in smuggling pork for two years

The Transport Prosecutor's Office of the Primorsky Territory charged the deputy chief of the border customs post of Grodeca customs and 10 to his colleagues engaged in smuggling.

According to the Internal Affairs Directorate of the Primorsky Territory, the accused were engaged in smuggling goods in the border area.

The investigation found that in the period from 2003 to 2005, through the railway customs transition, smuggled by the subcutaneous fat, they were moved across the state border from China over three thousand tons of pork meat meat.

As a result of the actions of the gang of customs officers, the state caused damage 38.5 million rubles, RIA Novosti reports.
