Police UAZ was blown up in Makhachkala

In Makhachkala in the evening on Thursday, another explosion thundered. According to the law enforcement agencies of Dagestan, the explosive device of an unidentified type worked on the side of the Makhachkala-1 airport on the sidelines on the northwestern outskirts of the city when the police UAZ passed by.

The incident occurred around 23:00 Moscow time. The windshield was knocked out by the explosive wave, the car received slight damage. Five policemen received light concussions. Policeers from serious injuries were saved by body armor, ITAR-TASS reported on the windows.

The operational-investigation team of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the FSB and the prosecutor's office operates on the spot. The issue of initiating a criminal case is being decided.
