A storm warning was announced in Primorye due to a cyclone

A storm warning was announced on Thursday in the Primorsky Territory, the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergencies in the Primorsky Territory reported. Its reason is a powerful cyclone that came from China and brought strong rains accompanied by a storm wind.

As reported in the Primorsky Hydrometeorological Center, the cyclone will determine the weather in the region for three days. On the evening of July 28 and the night of July 29 in Vladivostok and the southern regions of the region, heavy rain is expected. The wind will intensify, its impulses will reach 20 meters per second. At night and in the morning of July 29, the rain will be held in the south of the eastern regions of the region. It is assumed that the total amount of precipitation for this period will be 60-90 mm, which is a crescent norm.

Hydrologues report that these precipitation, taking into account the previous rainy weather, can lead to the formation of dangerous rain floods on the rivers of the region. According to preliminary calculation, the most difficult flood situation may develop on Razdolnaya, Partisan, Ussuri, Arsenyevka rivers, Illya in seven regions of the region, ITAR-TASS reports.

The Ministry of Emergencies turned to fishermen and vacationers on the coast of Primorye with a request not to go to sea until the abolition of a storm warning. All operational services were warned about the impending elements, added to the Ministry of Emergencies.

Powerful cyclones one after another follow throughout July over the territory of Primorye. Only in Vladivostok there were already more than three monthly rain norms, which twice led to flooding of the city districts.
